Cat Behaviour Consultations

Cats are not small dogs — and cat behaviour problems require a very different approach.

The most common issues I see in cats are litter tray problems, inter-cat tension, and anxiety.

For all feline consultations, I recommend an in-home consultation rather than bringing your cat to the clinic. Cats are highly sensitive to travel and unfamiliar environments, and arriving at a clinic only makes an already stressed cat, more stressed.

More importantly, a large part of what I need to assess is your cat's environment — how the space they live in is set up, how many resources you have, and where they are placed, and how your cats navigate the home environment — and that simply cannot be done in a consulting room.

Coming to you means less stress for your cat, and a better outcome for both of you.

What to expect: The feline consultation runs for approximately 90 minutes during which I will assess your cat's behaviour, review the environment, identify the underlying causes of the problem, and provide a tailored management and behaviour plan. Where appropriate, medication can be prescribed as part of the treatment plan.

Location: I currently see cats in the northern suburbs of Perth. Telehealth consultations are available for clients outside this area, though there are some limitations to what can be assessed remotely.

Fee: $495. A travel fee may apply depending on your location — this will be confirmed when you make your enquiry.

To book: Cat Behaviour Consultations are booked directly rather than through the online booking system. Please complete the enquiry form below and I will be in touch within one to two business days to discuss your cat's situation and confirm a time.
